Warhammer 40k - Officio Assassinorum: Eversor Assassin
The High Lords of Terra’s ultimate tool when anyone, friend or foe, steps out of line they and they send your name to the dreaded Officio Assassinorum. The Officio Assassinorum is the Imperial organisation responsible for the recruitment, training and use of elite secretive assassins. Broken into different unique temples or schools, each specialising in its own methods of killing. Its motto;
“For those that defy the Imperium, only the Emperor can judge your crimes. Only in death can you receive the Emperor’s judgement.”
Over the centuries each temple has gathered forbidden alien weapons that have given them access to some of the most advanced technology in the Imperium and they have developed many exotic types of equipment to help them excel in their sinister tasks. Each assassin along with their specialist weapon is equipped with Synskin, a substance sprayed onto the body and forms a black outer skin which protects the wearer from the environment and enhances strength, and aids to their stealth abilities.
Whether it be a Vindicare snipers bullet, infiltrating behind enemy lines and sticking a Callidus phase sword in the back of the victim, using enemy psykers' power against themselves with the use of the Culexus animus speculum helm or the berserk butchery and rage of the Eversor. If you are the target of the Officio Assassinorum, you are already dead!
